Musicien et chanteur de Jazz, Dan Voyé se spécialise dans les standards de Jazz des années 30 à 50, l'époque émergeante du swing. Son répertoire riche, varié et souvent inédit ainsi que son approche “douce et bluesy” apportent une couleur toute personnelle à la musique Swing.
Issu d'une formation classique, Dan a développé au fil des ans, un style particulier d'accompagement vocal et guitare Jazz comparable à ceux de John Pizzarelli et Django Reinhardt.
Dan s'est produit dans plusieurs festivals de musique au Québec comme à Saint-Sauveur et à Mont-Tremblant incluant le Casino de Montréal pour le Festival de Jazz. Plusieurs occasions et organisations corporatives comme la S.A.Q. et la Société Canadienne du Cancer. Nombreux restaurants offrant la formule des souper-concerts.
In the recent years, Dan's musical focus has been centered on the sounds from the 30's to the 50's. The time of Swing's flowering. Extensive acquaintance with the broad variety of Jazz standards from this era adds depth to his “soft bluesy” approach to the ever popular Swing music.
From a classical background, Dan has developped a highly particular Jazz vocal-guitar comping style, which might be compared to those of John Pizzarelli and Django Reinhardt.
Dan performed at many music festivals in Quebec such as Saint-Sauveur and Mont-Tremblant including the Montreal Casino for the Jazz Festival. Many corporate occasions and organizations such as the S.A.Q. and the Candian Cancer Society. Countless restaurants offering the concept of Concert-Dinning.
